Hydrogen Compressor

Booster Skid

An air-driven booster skid increases gas or liquid pressure using 0.6–0.8 MPa compressed air. Depending on the configuration, it delivers gas pressures up to 268.9 MPa or liquid pressures up to 689.48 MPa without external electric power, making it suitable for field boosting, testing, commissioning and high-pressure transfer.

Portable Booster Skid for On-Site Gas and Liquid Pressurization

The booster skid is a compact and portable pressurization unit built around an air-driven booster pump. Powered by compressed air, it provides efficient pressure boosting for gas or liquid media without requiring an external electric power supply. Its lightweight structure, simple installation, and adjustable stop pressure make it suitable for field operation, mobile testing, equipment commissioning, and high-pressure transfer applications.

Key Features

Compact Mobile Design
Small in size and light in weight, the booster skid is easy to move, install, and operate for on-site pressure boosting tasks.
Air-Driven Operation
Driven by 0.6–0.8 MPa compressed air, the system can operate in locations where electric power is unavailable or restricted.
Adjustable Stop Pressure
The unit automatically stops when the set pressure is reached, helping maintain controlled pressurization with simple operation.

How the Air-Driven Gas Booster Works

An air-driven gas booster uses compressed air acting on a large drive piston to move a smaller high-pressure piston. The difference in piston area increases the inlet gas pressure to the required outlet pressure. The Hydrosys booster skid operates with 0.6–0.8 MPa drive air and uses an adjustable stop-pressure setting to end the boosting cycle when the target pressure is reached. Actual outlet pressure and flow depend on the inlet pressure, booster ratio, system configuration and operating conditions.
